Justin - I'll probably be at the Solo event the last weekend of March. I won't be running the car, but showing to a bunch of folks who are interested in purchasing one for competition. The event is inside the horse racing track at 21st & Yale.

hola, i too am from okc.. southside actually.
still deciding on a 135i or the new 08 subaru STI. both in the same price range. Both are very expensive cars so the decision is tough. its a toss up, and appears that both will offer a great buy for the buck and the aftermarket supply is going to be strong for both. |

I too was waiting for the EVO X and the STi. Both are awesome cars for the money. I could have bought either one, but I decided on the BMW because it wasn't so "boy racer" for my everyday car. But the subie is a great performance car - period.

rajuncajun, my brother just went by and looked at your car on the lot. I'm getting excited to see one of these things. I hope our dealership gets them either this afternoon or tomorrow.

Here are some pics of your new car!!!! No, not the Z8. That was just something worth snapping on our way back inside.
Other cars there were a cashmere silver vert 128, sedona red coupe 128 (I apologize to those who I have offended), and a black vert 128 sport The convertibles look nice because the 3" of tonneau cover makes the trunk lid look longer from the angle I saw them. Black was really sharp, but it would mask the M body on a 135 instead of flaunting it. Cashmere was really classy as opposed to the sporty of the red. The aluminum trim looks great in person, although it reminded me of the stall walls in Wal-Mart I dumped in today. Is that good for Wal-Mart bathrooms or bad for BMW trim? :iono: |

sorry they're so big. Sizing everything down from 3000 to 1300 seemed small until it posted. I like the butt shot of the 1, but it needs to squat down just a little.

Any word on the Tulsa delivery policy?
Just noticed that rajuncajun hasn't picked up his car yet. Any particular reason or is BMW of Tulsa enforcing a particular pick-up or delivery policy that anyone is aware of? Just curious. Mine was unloaded from the ship in Charleston on 3/16, so I'm expecting it any day now. Of course, I can call my CA, but just thought someone here might have some insight so I'd know what to expect.

PPower, I'm going to have to meet you up there with the new 135i and get pictures like the M3/4. I need to decide if I'm going to sell the M or not. It would be nice to pay off the X3  You need to see if one of your friends up there will let you test drive a 135. You will love it!!! I guess you can wait for mine if you want but it's getting broken in.
