Shortcut to Activate/Deactivate Auto Start Stop Once

I have a 24X1. I wanted to know if anyone was able to add shortcut to Activate/Deactivate Auto Start Stop Once. I tried long pressing the option but was not able to add it.

on 2023 X1 with iDrive8, I have no problems adding that shortcut.(like in the screenshot below)

unfortunately, according to other members with 2024 X1 running iDrive9, they said it couldn't be done yet.

Sadly on ID9, it does not allow me to press and hold to add a shortcut.

You folks on the newer 2024 X1 with iDrive9 should complain to BMW more often.. that's one of the only ways to make them correct this ASAP. Good luck!

How? I've only been able to setup a shortcut to the "Drivetrain and Chassis" section and then I have to press that to open another window and then select the Auto Start/Stop button.

Sorry for the confusion, perhaps I misunderstood. I was able to set both primary & secondary drivers up with the shortcut for “Drivtrain & Chassis” I click on it to gain access to Deactivate stop/start function each time I get into x1.
I don’t find it difficult to do but like the hard button on my 2019 Acura RDX Advance better.

not sure about the RDX, but I helped a family friend install a bypass dongle in her MDX('16 or '17?) a few years ago. It permanently disabled the stupid engine idle stop/start "feature"
