Looks like we missed being recalled by one week. Here is the link for anyone who wants to check with their VIN number. https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vin=WBX73EF0XR5Y26397#vin

Weird. My X1 was built end of September/early October. I picked it up from the dealer on Oct 27th. It was definitely built between the AUG 02, 2022 - OCT 26, 2023 dates listed on the recall. But when I search by plate or VIN it says I have no recalls.

during my first oil change service, the service advisor scanned my key fob. The recall popped up immediately. However, they didn't have a resolution for it yet.(same as other BMW models that have the same brake recall)

my X1 was towed to the dealer yesterday because they determined that it was not safe to drive, due to all exterior cameras having failed at the same time.

the good news was that the service advisor told me yesterday that they didn't forget about my recall. the bad new was that as of yesterday, BMW still didn't have a resolution for them yet(or when it might be).

Received my letter on April 24th...4 days after I registered the car.

No fix in Germany yet either. I have a service next month - maybe I can get a better idea then.

We also received the letter - but we are amongst others. 300k odd recalls ranging from 2 to 7 series and M models.
Waiting to be informed when the parts become available.

For my 2024 iX1, delivered mid of Dec 2023 I got the following message:

Quote:
There is an open technical enhancement on this vehicle. Please go here, to either request a convenient appointment for your vehicle or contact your local Centre for more information. Enhancement code 0065740400.
I guess "technical enhancement" means a "recall" in Bavarian English
