Can someone please measure the space under the cargo deck?
2024 X1 M35i
I'm looking to put a spare tire in there and need at least 28" X 28" X 6" to do so.

The USA X28i comes with a spare (which is why the model info was needed).

go to page 9 of this post & scroll to the bottom 1/4 of the page. there's a picture with the spare, but I imagine it's the same size as the M35i?

fairly certain that a 245/40/20 tire can't fit in there without causing a bulge

I wish I can measured the trunk for you, but unfortunately I don't have my X1 with me this weekend.

The dealer has it because they need to figure out why ALL 4 cameras on my X1 have failed simultaneously. (which also caused Drive Recorder and the factory navigation system, panoramic camera view, etc... to be non-operational, because they also depend on the cameras)

My point is that not having a spare tire, full size or temporary size, is not the only thing that can strand the X1.

Don't know the exact measurements off hand, but its 18inch and will fit over the M Sport Red Calipers on the X1 M35i..

Nice snug fit in the compartment with heaps of space around to store tools and bits.

Wow. If it's a 28i it should have had a spare as standard. Ask your dealer why it's missing.

I have the tire accessory pack in my trunk but not the spare tire. I have x28i M Sport if that matters. I'm going to put run flats on my car in a few months anyway

According to the MY24 ordering Guide it should have a spare as standard. No exceptions noted for M Sport.

The M35 only has a mobility kit (no spare).

my sales advisor is off today, he is going to call me next week to follow up w me on my car so I will ask him then. like I said I don't really mind since I am going to put run flats on it and I actually use this space in the trunk to store extra clothes and emergency things, but I do not want to be charged for this once my lease is up. I found it a little strange I didn't get the spare but I have the tire kit Velcroed in this space.

I also noticed I did not get any M door sills like my 2021 has (and I've noticed people here posted saying they did not get it as well,) but it's not a big deal for me since the door is shut when driving. my car's production date is mid March 2024.

The door sills have since been deleted as a standard item for 2024 models, as well as other small things like the glovebox light and door locking pins. It's quite possible the space saver spare is now one of those items as a running change going forward.
