Hello from NJ. Bout to sign for my new to me 2021 540i Xdrive next week. Im in NJ so I plan on doing oil changes every 5k miles, esp with my heavy foot. Im really looking to see how these B58s are, from my research they seem to be stout and reliable. My concerns are cost for repairs etc. Dealer is giving 7 year 100K on the powertrain only, but is bmw like nissan with warranties? Nissan will use any excuse under the sun to deny warranty work. Car has only 20k miles on it and holy shit is it smooth as butter, what an amazing car. Launch control is way too much fun. Is there any special shit i have to do monthly with this car or just check from time to time for leaks etc? Is there anything in particular I need to look out for? ps anyone else drive the shit out of theirs? Is it holding up to the abuse?
