The competition version you posted looks nice, as competition cars often do.
To me, a former Scirocco owner, the plain-Jane retail version of the car looks a little ... vanilla. Plus, with FWD you always face that question: At what point will adding horsepower turn my annoying push into unmanageable torque steer?

S3 is a nice car, but they couldn't afford to sell it in this country. Look at the prices of the A3 3.2Q. It's about the same cost as the 135i. The S3 would have to start at $43k+ base. I just don't see a market for it here, even though it's a nice car.
