I think the functionality of the oem grills will negate any aftermarket options becoming available. And, I’m sure BMW would void your drivetrain warranty

Is the functionality for the radiator opening and closing part of the grill? I thought that the grill is just purely cosmetic and the actual functionality hides behind it. I’m not sure how this would void the drivetrain warranty, as it shouldn’t affect performance at all.

You think the difference between an xLine front grill and the Shadowline grill (and in '23 the base grill) is anything more than just a trim piece? You think the active shutters are attached to each different style grill cover?

Good evening, I had conversation with the following number in Singapore +65 9695 2338.
I sent them photo of my front car - Xline- and answered to me that they have iconic mask for my car.

I haven’t yet proceed buying it.

They asked me 450usd

It looks nice. 450 doesn’t seem to be a terrible price comsidering the other website that sells essentially the same item is selling it for around 650. If you go through with the buying process I’d be very interested in seeing what the installation looks like. Something you might want to ask the seller: does the iconic grill stay lit up while you are driving, or does it only turn on with the welcome lights? I haven’t seen any videos of the car driving with this mod, so I’m not sure what to expect.

There’s a lot of options online for the X2 (OEM even?) since the iconic grill is already an option on the factory x2 models, so luckily for you theres a lot of options. If you look up “iconic grill x2 OEM” you’ll find good options on eBay too.
