Auto-Dimming Passenger Side Mirror?

I definitely can tell that the rearview and driver's side mirror have auto dimming based on the border with the dimmable portion. Does the passenger side mirror not have auto-dimming? I don't see a framed border for the dimmable section, and driving tonight, it didn't seem dimmed. Does the passenger side mirror not dim because it's not directly in my field of vision at night? Did I somehow get the wrong side mirror installed on my car?

No, the passenger side mirror does not dim unfortunately. It was a minor annoyance at first for me, but I've since gotten used to it where I barely even notice it anymore. Hasn't caused any issues when driving.

This was one of the first things that was removed from the early rounds of BMWs cost cutting campaigns. Started a few years ago. Now it's down to door sills, glove compartment light, seat pockets....

I assume the play is that we will be able to rent some of these features in the future through the connected store.

£10 year for glovebox light.

Yes, and maybe Air-conditioning/heat/radio at per minute based charges in the future.
