Ceramic Coat Leather Dashboard Help
Hey guys - recently coated my leather dashboard in Gyeon Leather Shield and it's not looking so good. There's streaks and spots all over and freaking me out. Tried buffing it out, even applying another coat to smooth it out more but not working. Anyone know how to get this stuff off my leather dashboard without marring the leather or damaging it in anyway?

first try these:
CarPro Inside, InnerScrub mitt. good luck, don't get too aggressive with it. do you have a local shop that does coatings? might take it to them and see what they can offer before any aggressive removal efforts. |

Oh man, sorry to hear you had issues. Been using Gyeon Leather for years and never have any problems.
Anyhow, try some Strong Leather Cleaner (Gyeon or Colourlock). Also try Scrub Ninja - Star Scrubber. Good luck! |

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I bought a scrub ninja and leather cleaner. Going to try and fix it. I'll try to grab a picture when the weather and lighting is better.

It looks like uneven ceramic application to me. Caveat is I haven't installed leather ceramic coating before so I might be missing something only experienced users would know.
If cleaning doesn't help, and I doubt it will (because ceramic), perhaps another layer of ceramic coating will even things out. |
