My neighbor's computer monitor is displayed sideway........
How do I get it to view normal again? Thanks!

How'd it get sideways? is his monitor one of those flat screen ones that you can rotate?
is the computer PC or MAC?

Natureboy, I'd try to go to display properties>settings tab>advanced. I think you could find some kind of control there based on the video card...it sounds like a video card-specific issue...I don't think windows can tilt the screen like that...

It's a PC w/flatscreen......she accidently tabbed a key on the keyboard.....
and the whole monitor is sideway now. I'm typing up into the top of the monitor......hahaha!

If its Windows then it might as well be a vid card issue. rt click desktop / properties / settings / advanced (button) click on the Vid Card tab on top.
little window will popup on the side click the + sign first link on th elittle window NV Rotate

some Laptops will allow you to flip the screen with the combo of 2 keys, a Fn key or ctrl with something else. as everyone else said, go to the advanced tab of the display properties and there should be a large list of options there. I'm sure that is a nice laptop at least though, most dont give you the option to rotate the screen, you need a pretty high end graphics card
