Does anybody NOT believe in Dinosaurs?
I was having a discussion with someone at work today and I heard something that I hadn't up to this point: Dinosaurs aren't real? I literally was confused for a minute. She said she was Christian and since it wasn't in the Bible she didn't believe in it.
I don't want to start a flame war but a lot of my friends are Christian and believe dinosaurs existed. Like I said she's the first person I've met who said this so i don't necessarily think it's a religion thing. It's said God created the world in 6 days, who's to say he didn't destroy something in that time as well? Does anyone else not believe they existed? This seriously baffles me. Discuss.

Does it matter?
We have like a quarter of the world's population believing in an invisible man up in the sky...and they are still respected as a normal human being. If you tell others that you don't believe in Dinosaurs too, i doubt anyone would give a fuck. |

Dude, wtf are you smoking, dinosaurs ARE NOT REAL.
I mean seriously, if they were real, there would be some sort of drawing or something when people were alive. Since there wasn't a painting or anything about them, they are obviously made up like dragons and mythical creatures.... C'mon man...seriously? |

Stupid bitch. Guess the bones don't mean anything. Is she hot? Maybe if I give her the bone she'll starting believing it.

It's not surprising. A long time ago I heard another guy saying the same thing. He was a Christian and said that he didn't believe in dinosaurs. I told him exactly what you guys have stated (about fossils, etc.) but he wouldn't budge. What I've come to realize is that some people are hardcore believers and thus it's almost impossible to change their beliefs. So to each his/her own. While I don't agree with them, I don't really care about it that much as long as those beliefs are somewhat acceptable (i.e. beliefs about killing others or harming others don't make any sense to me).
Also, some people refuse to believe in other things because they're afraid. It's kinda similar to how we believed in such things as the tooth fairy and santa claus as little kids. I bet for some of us it was very disappointing to find out that it was our parents that put the money under the pillow and the presents under the trees. So to say that there are things that could alter the beliefs of Christianity is about a million times the magnitude of what I mentioned above. I mean what are they going to believe in then? |

It really bothers me that people would believe anything that some dude in a funky looking robe and brandishing a fucking microphone will tell them. |
