Car selling scams? or a resource?
Hello, I currently have a nissan 350z and am currently trying to sell it to fund a new 2009 328i sedan. I have already listed it on autotrader, cars, and craigslist. I have reiced many calls from companies who will sell my car for me to a pre approved buyer and guarantees it to sell under 90 days. they charge around 200-500 depending on the company and will give you your asking price. They claim that they make their money from the loans and warranties they give to the buyer.
Has anyone tried this or is it a complete scam? If it actually works I think it could be a potential good resource. thanks! |

I have never heard of that, have sold several cars on my own. Maybe its a new thing or maybe its a CA thing.
sorry I cant help. do they need money up front or just after the sale? If its after the sale it cant hurt.

Look them up on-line and in your state's BB. If they're legit they'll have a history.
