The N54 is nothing
For the past month or so, I've been trying to get my friend Doug to play show and tell with the crown jewel of his stable.
He finally decided to entertain me TODAY: Let me just say, coming from what I thought was a *decently fast* car, it is humbling to have your chest caved in at 120 off an on ramp... in 3rd gear. A few observations: -Factory tires are F:235, R:315 -Just a muffler delete drops ~50lbs. -The blower is less than a foot from the driver/passenger's heads (in the cabin). -Factory wheels are made by BBS -Factory buckets are backed with CF. -My car looks like an SUV compared to this thing. -I hit my head on the weird door overhang thing. I want one dammit! EDIT: A few more from yesterday:

Nice Phil! I got to poke around one a while back and besides how low the car sits, I was surprised at how much CF the car has, and that huge rear diffuser.

Huh?
Indeed they are... Doug's car, however is pretty much stock except for the muffler delete (which looks and sounds like automotive pr0n). This car is supercharged, not a turbocharged conversion like the Hennessy GT. You can see the blower right through the rear window and you can even watch the pulley and belt turn from the cockpit! I have a bunch of iphone pics... I'll post them when i get around to it.

I'll be the guy to go against the grain. It's an over priced Ford, regardless of how much power it has.
I'll take my slow N54 anyday over that POS. Not a huge domestic car fan here, sorry guys. My .02 |

The GT was not built by your average Ford worker. It has impecable details in it and is an instant classic. Much rarer than your average Ferrari 360 |
