This is the final race of the 2009 season!

Dust settled and Congratulations to Jenson Button and Brawn GP to become the WDC and WCC of 2009!!!

Teams are heading (or arrived already) to Abu Dhabi for the preparation of their final race in a total unfamaliar track.

Another track designed by Harmann Tilke. The Grand Prix will start 17:00 local time and finish in twightlight hours during sunset and conclude the 2009 season! Interesting to see the pitlane exit tunnes thru Turn 1 and exit on the out-bend of Turn 3, hopefully we won't see someone smash their car into the tunnel wall.

IMO...the tunnel is nothing but gimmick...its unnecessary....
they could've let the car out on the outside of turn on...
paint the "do not cross" line up to turn 2....so the fast lapping cars will see anyone coming out from the pitlane when they going to turn one and adjust the speed....

I'm pretty sure they built a grandstand there for people to watch the cars fly down the start finish straight and then into and out of turn one.

I wonder....if there's a crash and block the pitlane exit tunnel...will the race be red-flagged??? (depends on where the safety car station is....)
coz basically any car who enter the pit....there's no way to get out....

uhhh...the GP is at Abu Dhabi, the capital city of United Arab Emirates, not Dubai....

and the dark side...well...every city has its own dark side behind all the glitz and glamour....

nonetheless..its a good read of the things we don't see behind those amazing high-rise buildings and malls...
