Powermat

has anyone bought the powermat? looks cool, but you have to get the attachments which kind'a defeats the purpose of wireless charging. it comes with a universal attachment, but that means you can only charge one item at a time unless you get more attachments or specific battery. anybody used this yet?

The one for PSP made me laugh, wouldn't be easier to just plug it in the wall with the charger that PSP came with? This is f*ckig ridiculous

When I first saw it I was gung-ho about to purchase it. Then I realized the $100 price tag is for the mat only, and every item you want to connect to it will be an addtl $30/ea. So if you want to charge 3 items with it, you'll be paying $190.... for a charger.

Yea right. Lost my sale.

i thought it was cool at first too then i saw you have to buy the attachments for stuff and thought it would be easier to just plug the things into the wall.

Yup, I thought it sounded cool but then realized that it basically is nothing exceptionally groundbreaking.

yeah i thought the same thing with that psp. the other attachments are ridiculous as well. so i guess noone has bought these. hopefully it'll be a standard so no attachments needed for future products.

Even with the attachments I would have purchased it if they didn't charge individually. That alone has probably lost them sooooo many sales. I mean, you pay $100 for something you can't even use. There are NO attachments sold with the mat. In practice you'll be spending $250 to charge items in your household. Rediculous.

this is for people who either like to try new crap technology has to offer or for someone who is extremely lazy and might hurt their hand trying to push a plug into their device.
