Sick numbers. Is that just with free-flow exhaust and chip? Maybe pulleys too?

I feel bad for those tires.

Thanks. I was actually in the parking lot of Discount Tire, was there for new meats anyway. Figured I'd make the most of what was left. The customers seemed to enjoy it, but my HVAC still blows rubber smoke LOL.

First set of graphs are from our S2 car: LTs/Mids, Catback, Tuning, Airbox/Filters, Thermostat.

Second set has our race ported heads in addition to the above.

The first three cammed 63s will be running around in a few weeks. Goal is 540rw+ SAE N/A. Stock cams only have around 200 degrees of duration @ .050, basically on par with a Ford Modular 4.6L cam. Which is probably the only way AMG got this motor to pass emissions. They also have zero overlap so we're really not even taking advantage of the LTs yet.

Then we stroke, re-cam and re-port.

Fun stuff.

The C63 does not have those cool looking diff fins anymore like on the E55/63 or the C55? Nice hp figure for just NA setup.

It has them, they aren't pretty (look like cheap plastic) but someone I think Euroteck makes a nice CF version.

Thanks!

Those are some impressive numbers. Cams and pulleys and you'll see a nice gain

No I meant those fins hanging right below the differential.

Correct, gains with cams will be huge, the stock cams are meant for a lawnmower. We're expecting 540-560rw SAE with H/C + S2. Goal for the 7.0L is 600rw SAE on pump gas.

We don't believe in UD pulleys. Crank dampers are meant to quell internal harmonics, and a 6.2L v8 revving to 7500rpm (post H/C) will need every bit of a 6.62" shell dia to safely eliminate all 3rd order harmonics. V8s have more 3rd order vibration than V6s, V10s, V12s.

Long story short, a damper is not a place to make power, it's cheap insurance for a $40K bottom end. All our dampers are made by ATI and are SAE certified for use up to 750HP/7500rpm. They may not make power, but they don't lose any despite the larger shell due to the complete elimination of crank flex.

I would do the same especially since the ~30hp gain apparently now comes from the tune alone vs a forged M159 bottom end as well. Skip the Vmax limiter but get the LSD, we can eliminate Vmax with a tune.
