E90POST Awards, Step 1

Step 1. Create Categories -We need to brainstorm topics that will honor members for their achievements. Maybe 8-10 categories.
i.e. Member of the Year, Most Influential, Best Vendor, etc.

Step 2. Nominate Candidates -Established members (guideline: those with 1000+ posts will be eligible) will select 3 to 5 candidates for each category.
i.e. Best Vendor: Ryan@Eisenhaus, Shiv@Vishnu, etc.

Step 3. Poll A poll for each category will be posted for a period of time and any member of E90Post.com will be eligible to vote.
The polls on this forum already allow one vote per member. Maybe we can only disclose the poll results after they are closed, instead of allowing anyone to view the progress at anytime.

I would like to thank everyone for their help and support.

1. Member of the Year-Members may experience difficulties defining a Mr. of Miss E90Post, so I think we simply leave this category broad. However, if the consensus wants gender specific, we'll leave it that way.

2. Car of the Year -Candidates will include the last 12 Cars of the Month

3. Most Contributing Member -The Member of the Year category may not recognize the member that offers the best information, opinion, or write-ups. Instead of choosing a favorite member, this category allows the choice of one that has helped us all.

4. Most Contributing Member in Off-Topic Banter -The Off-Topic section has split in to an atom of it's own and this is where many member shine.

5. Best Presentation -While browsing through this forum, I saw many interesting avatars, elaborate signatures, and quirky quotes. Then I realized that all of these features in a members post contributes to an image that represents them. Avatars, signatures, or quotes are all tools that a member uses to personalize and create a presentation so that others can recognize them.

6. Best Thread -Many of the threads on this forum have been memorable to many members.

7. Best Photographer/Photo Portfolio -Many photos in this forum have amazed me and I'm sure many agree they need to be credited.

8. Meet of the Year -We can simply make a list.

Hold up people!!

No one can strip me on my title. Ive been to more meet n greets than all the females on this board. Just cause im in NY and you east coasters dont have any gatherings doesnt mean that im not involved. ha ha.. once im back in cali this winter, ill be back in full force!

BTW there can't be a post minimum, and if there is it has to be much lower like 100, and what about members who have been here for like 8 months but only have 60 posts, or those who only post in OT where it doesn't count? I say no post minimum.
