You think your Cool Hu??
Man, im' just venting out a little. So i'm driving my moms 03 X5 because i have no car until my car get's into production and get's delivered to me (335i coupe). Anyway i'm driving home last night and i pull up to a red light. I look to my right and i see a 07 3 series coupe. So the guy looks at me and looks at my car and starts laughing then he tells his girl something and they start laughing... So now i'm getting pissed. Anyway i sneek a peak inside and and the rims etc... and it pretty much looks like a stock car. Anywaythe light turns green and he rev's up a little and i SLOWLY start pulling away and he jams on his accelirator. So since it was dark, i just wanted to see what car model it was... he started slowing down because the car in front of him was slowing down so as i passed him i glimps at the model and it was a 328i.
Now i am not cocky, because even if i have my car... Well if i saw him laughing at my new car, i would probably point and laugh at him back but not race him. Ayway, i'm not cocky but last night was a night that i would have wished i would have been in my 335i.... WISH... So i could make him and his girl feel stupid.!!!! Laugh at me now, wait untill i get my new car!!!!!!!!!!!! he thinks he's all cooooolll because he has his new car, Wait until i get MINE!! Anyway who cares, when the m3 comes out, it'll all be the same, but doesn't matter, i don't find the need to race a 325-328-335 or any bmw. what's the point. But just last night i felt like popping him in his head or saying something smart, but... i don't know whatever.. .Anyone go thru something like that?.. Like if you have a modded hot car but it's in for service and you get a loaner and pull up next to a bmw who looks at you like their hot... or your driving your girls car and a bmw is next to you and they look at your car thinking their all cool? BTW- i checked if anything was wrong with my passenger side door or if i had a buger, maybe that's why he was laughing, but nope... nothing was wrong.

I honestly think all that was in your head...I don't think a total stranger would go out of his way to laugh at you without provocation.
Maybe they know you? Or saw some questionable pics of you on the internet or something? Bottom line is no one is laughing at you for not driving an E92....

Anyway just sit back and relax. You did the right thing and you got the last laugh knowing that you're getting a 335i.

if that guy was in fact laughing at you about your car, then chances are he has some insecurity issues. men who need materialistic possessions to realize self-worth come off as superficial and insecure.
don't stoop to that level. and hopefully soon down the road of life, you'll realize yourself how insecure/unattractive that really looks (to women, especially, if you in fact want a great relationship with a woman.. which most men do). It tells other people that the surface is all that matters in 'your reality.' Get a 335i for the driving experience, not to impress others! besides, there's always a ferrari (where there's a lamborghini, where there's an aston martin, where there's a bentley). |

If anything...that guys is a cock smacking-hoe ass-son of whore!
Whenever I see another fellow BMW driver I always acknowledge them by nodding my head or giving him the . He's probably some 17 year old kid, who looks to be 30, who had daddy buy him a BMW and he has no clue how to truly enjoy the drive. He probably ran into a tree later that night and he's crying to his daddy to buy him another one. That probably wasn't even his girlfriend but just some hooker he picked up on his way to a cheap motel. He could have rented the 328i for all we know. F' that!!! Next time someone like that laughs at you just laugh right back at them! |

I hate when kids get BMWs only because they don't appreciate the true value of what it offers nor do they know how to really enjoy them. They just get them for show and because daddy and mommy bought it for them.

I don't know. This is actually my second bmw, i've owned a e46 before. To answer your question i'm 24yo. I wrote what i felt, who cares. It's probably all in my head. If you asked me he was prob trying to show of in front of his car. Anyway this whole thread was mainly done to see if you feel BMW drivers think of you less when your car is at the dealer, or you're in your girls car, etc..

BTW to all, what i wrote in my thread is thw way i felt like expressing myself. I'm new to this forum coming from e46fanatics.com, for the once who don't know me, i can see how you must think i'm a teen. In the e46fanatics most joke around when needed and got seriouse when needed as well. I guess most of us new each other and their was not a lot of, you must be a teen or who old are you, because most have been on the forum for a while. If you still feel i'm immature by the way i expressed myself you could feel free to review my previouse posts and see as to how i respond, suggest, or comment on other posts. I joke around to.

Ohhhh i get what your "trying" to say... You pretty much want me to say something in the lines of, the loan is under my mom and my name... And my dad paid for the down payment, and the insurance will be under her name, and... My uncle will make my monthly payements? Sorry dude, that's not how mine is set up, but if you do that, hey to each their own if you want to save a couple of bucks, it's quite smart. I got my job to thank for allowing me to pay for my things

Look...they laughed at you, they drove off, the damage is done, we move on in life. The next time you see him with his girl...laugh at him and then ask his girl if she wants to hop on something with more power!
If she comes your way then you just scored extra KUDOS for that! |

hey dude, these other people can call you immature or whatever since theyre so cool and secure, but i know how you feel. and i think a lot of the people here would feel the same whether they can admit it or not. anyway, your post reminded me of a story one of my coworkers told me that i thought was hilarious. he was filling up his car at a pump while he was in high school when another young guy drove up in a camaro with a girl in the car. my friend was minding his own business but the guy in the camaro kept saying "look at that little B!tch" to the girl in the car. (My friend says he weighed all of 120 soaking wet in high school.) So my friend keeps minding his own business until he's about to leave and goes up to the guy and says "hey, i dont know what your problem is but if you want to go around back and kick my a$$ lets do it." So my friend pulled around to the back of the station fully expecting to get whooped but as he was getting out he found a lead pipe and picked it up. When the guy in the Camaro pulled around my friend let him get out of the car then cracked him in the head with the pipe! He said the chick was screaming and the dude was on the ground when he took off. He was waiting for police to show up for the next few days but they never did! anyway maybe that was a little off topic but i really like that story because thats exactly what some of those Aholes need. I bet the camaro guy didnt mess with any scrawny high school kids after that.
