Mercedes SLS Gullwing seen in the wild..
Stumbled into this beauty in Kentucky of all places... Stunning in black over black. - strong & [almost] subtle. Note the "6.3" badge. Heh.

Gorgeous car.
First time I saw one was last October in Tokyo at TGS and was struck by how low it sits.

About the 6.3 label. Yes, we all know it's a 6.2 liter, but I don't think AMG is going to let go of that number too easily. There was a poll done for AMG owners as to what they thought of keeping the 63 designation on the new AMG S Class with the 5.5 TT motor. It was a mixed response but AMG feels that the heritage is too strong and wants (for now) to keep the 63 model usage. |

I miss the days when model numbers indicated engine displacement. I find it a bit silly that the 335i and the 328i, for example, have the same engine sizes.

It's a nice car with a exciting engine note. Also the door handles that only pop out when the car is unlocked is a pretty cool gimmick too. And I just think the fact that the door hinges blow off during a roll over is ingenious. However I must say I don't like driving in it that much. It feels very claustrophobic in there and since the roof is part of the doors when ever I close it it feels like its gonna hit my head. And I'm not that tall, a little under 6 ft. I'll have to say I do like the SLR a lot better, thought it does cost like double the price.

Saw it at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, looked absolutely incredible. I love it, although I wish the back end was a little nicer, still I love it.
I also spotted one on the Nurburgring webcam last weekend. |

The design of the car has grown on me a lot. However, I wish the front was a tad more retro (like a Z8) and the back didn't look like an old Acura CL.

Some dude has one in the parking lot in the building I work in.
It's like the #1 parking spot in the garage. Silver one. Have no idea...assume it's some lawyer. Oh what!?!?! Pics or GTFO? I will snap one when I come back from lunch. Right as you go into the parking gate, it is straight ahead.....you wait...1hr 30min from now..you will have a photo of it. It's bit dark though...so don't blame me for the parking garage lighting. Wait for it.... |

Super expensive car in the #1 spot in the garage. Maybe, the big boss man himself? (or herself) |
