Cars You Wish You Never Sold?
I recently purchased a MY2011 BMW e90 M3 and feel like I've "arrived." I've been thinking I would like to keep this car forever. I've also been thinking about cars I've owned that I miss and wish I kept, if money were no matter. They are:
1. 1984 BMW 325i. 5spd, White on Tan with a great sounding blaupunkt stereo system. 2. 1985 BMW 745i. "Grey" market car in the US. Approx. 300hp and 300ft lbs of torque, water buffalo leather interior. 3. 1990 Mazda Miata. Silver on Black. 4. 1992 VW GTI. 32V, Red with Gray Recaro seats. 5. 1994 VW Passat VR6. Deep Green on Tan leather. 6. 1996 Audi A4 V6. Blue on Black leather, 5spd. 7. 1999 BMW M Coupe (Z3). Black on Black leather, 5spd 8. 2005 BMW e90 330i. Silver on Black, Sport Package Any cars you've owned that you wish you never sold, if money were no matter? Thanks for sharing. Last edited by R A W L S; 08-07-2010 at 11:49 PM.. |

95 Honda Prelude VTEC (mint condition with just 40k miles when I sold it)
04 Acura TSX (still the best gauge cluster I've ever seen and a great FWD performer) 85 Fiero GT (this thing was a great handling car when it wasn't broken down) 06 Civic Si (such a fun little pocket rocket and it even had nav)

Only one - my 2003 325i with 5-speed and sport package, jet black on black. I sold that and my 2003 Z4 roadster to buy the M Coupe so I wouldn't have a car note; wish I'd kept it as my commuter/winter beater. I'm seriously considering trading the Solstice in on one this winter, rather than moving to the E92 328i I've been thinking about.

MazdaSpeed6. It was such a great car in the snow, more fun than the 335xi. Total sleeper.
In hindsight I would have kept the MazdaSpeed6 as a winter car and bought a 335i coupe. I won't make the same mistake again. The 335xi will become my winter car soon |

Same. Sold mine to a friend, and he rubs it in every time we meet up.

Bah you're still ok with two high redline N/A cars....however you can't feel or hear the VTEC....I miss Vtec..whammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm with my CAI. The hondata kind a killed the joy. I miss those days ordering parts blowing stupid money on parts...JDM and other renowned parts. Tanabe, HKS, Greddy, Koni all comes to mind...let alone the wheel sets. All the speed shops around here died lately....we're all growing up or becoming smarter.

FJ Cruiser, 4x4 w/ manual transmission, locking rear and center differential, ATRAC front, skid plates, TRD shocks, BFG AT/KOs, Rock Rails. I took that beast all over California off the road. It was the best vehicle I have ever owned. It was stolen from Toyota San Diego while in for service. Police never recovered. Pretty sure it was dismantled for parts in Chula Vista......sons of bitches!
