This documentary is about global warming and how the world might end up in 50 or so years. It's made by AL GORE supposibly...and a group of scientist using real, hard evidence to back up theories. My co-worker told me about this movie today and said it's a much watch.

He said it covers issues on how much water, c02, resources, etc. were going to have in the upcoming years. Scientist predicting the heat and oxygen by taking ground samples in Anartica by drilling holes in the ground and taking up small air bubbles to determine this. Says, UV Rays won't be protected by the Ozone Layer as much as it now...(already happening)...some scary shhhaat! but shows the truth.

SOO...let's hear some feedback!!

Yea I've heard ppl say all that stuff too, but I plan to watch it just to see what they're getting at. I'm pretty good at keeping an aware / open mind and detecting

I found it very interesting and enjoyable to watch. One weekend last month in NYC, they had home screenings where people (strangers) would invite other people (strangers) to their homes, watch the movie together, and discuss it. It was a really cool concept and carried out with good intentions. Anyhow, watch it and let us know what you thought of it!

yea i saw it when it was in theaters.
I beleive all of it, scientifically speaking it makes sense.
Now politically, some may want to call this a lie, but thats a politic with no scientific background.

there is a hole in the ozone layer... and this WAS caused by CFCs and other free radicals in the air which react with ozone gases (forgive me because i learned this last year and have forgotten alot of details). Free radicals can continually react with these ozone gases because of their electron arangement... instead of having a pair... it has one free electron... and in order for the free radical to stop reacting... it has to react with another free radical. anyways... loss of ozone = more uv rays (there are 3 types... all of which do some type of damage but i forget which one is the worst... and the ozone allows some but not all UV) UV rays = cancer.

the weather has been whack lately... and CO2 concentrations are extremely high compared to the levels centuries ago... the concentrations of CO2 may be associated with the weather but it may not be the causing factor... maybe there are multiple factors which have caused the weather... who knows.
