WTF who is trying to hack my M3post acc?

1st email =

Dear hks786,

Someone has tried to log into your account on M3 Forum 2011 2010 BMW M3 2009 BMW M3 BMW E90 M3 E92 with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

2nd email =

Dear hks786,

Someone has tried to log into your account on New 2009 2010 BMW Z4 - ZPOST with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

On this note, I just got an alert from Gmail stating that my email was accessed from China (4 hours ago). Apparently this is relatively common. Nothing appeared to have changed, and I don't think there was any important information within the account. Both POP and IMAP access were enabled. Weird.

if you have an account w/ gawker or any of its subsidiary sites (kotaku, gizmodo, lifehacker, etc) their entire database of over 1.3 million users was cracked a few days ago. They have email addresses, usernames, passwords, etc. People who use the same name/password on multiple sites are getting hacked right and left.

M3post emailed me both times and gave me their IP addresses. What is Gawker? I dont have an account but I'll check and see what other accounts got hacked. Thanks.
