Post your 1st mod bug
When this bug bites, it bites hard!
I know many of you have had other cars you have fixed up, even presented at shows. When I was 10-years-old, I built my first plastic kit model--a 1970 240Z, and thought in my dreams--some day.... My first MAJOR project car still sits in a barn in Kansas. I was building this from the ground up as a dedicated Solo II car in 1991. 1974 1/2 Datsun 260Z Stripped bare and reconstructed Front camber plates welded to strut towers 4130 8-point roll cage Corbeau driver's seat Scroth race harness Custom quick release steering wheel Stroud safety net Custom fabricated dashboard Autometer gauges (don't laugh) 280Z block bored 150 over 240SX pistons Nissan Maxima diesel crankshaft Triple Mikuni side-draft carburetors 240Z E88 high compression head ported/polished Arizona Z-car chrome moly A-arms Aluminum polished cam cover 5-Speed 280Z transmission 4.10 LSD from Nissan Silva Lexan front and rear windshields Custom Arizona Z-Car coil-overs with threaded sleeves The hideous rear spoiler would eventually be replaced (wasn't my idea) Then I got distracted by 2-stroke Jetskis, which was a much more rewarding bang-for-the-buck hobby. Here are some photos of the shell: Last edited by ksfrogman; 02-23-2007 at 10:46 AM.. |

So umm... you'd get in and out of your car Dukes of Hazard style?
