***Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #33: Inside The Car***
Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #33: Inside The Car
___________________________________________ RULES: (please read cuz I'm a stickler for rules) 1. Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Bimmerpost.com rules and the theme is welcome. 2. You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image. 3. One submission per contest. 4. Images must be no larger than 800px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 800px for the poll. 5. All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on Bimmerpost). 6. All images must have a title. 7. While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture. THEME: The theme is "Inside The Car." You have to take a picture of something inside a car. It can be one item. It can be the entire interior or it can be something creative from inside a car. Inside The Car means in the driving compartment.. if you have a hatchback then the back hatch portion would be considered inside the car as well since it's technically part of the driving compartment. The camera or person doesn't have to be inside the car to take the picture.. if you are not inside the car it has to be a picture of something inside the car. For example, a picture of a dog hanging out the window of a car would qualify.. IMPORTANT DATES: Entries must be submitted to this thread no later than Sunday March 27th @ 11:59 CST (*new time*). The poll will begin on the following Monday. Any questions about the theme can be discussed below. Try to leave out the part about me being a terrible photographer and a douche bag for PM's this time Good Luck --mike Last edited by leemik; 03-24-2011 at 10:58 AM.. Okay so the item has to be inside the car or can we take pix of something outside the car as long as we (the photographers) are inside the car? I mean there's really not much you can take if the item has to be inside the car...

yes, you can take a picture standing outside the car as long as something inside the car is shown..
if you are sitting in your car taking a picture out a window, some part of your car has to be shown so that it's obvious you are in a car EDIT: here's an example.. It was raining and I was obviously taking a picture out my car window at the E93 parked next to me DSC02052 by leemiks, on Flickr Last edited by leemik; 03-23-2011 at 12:34 AM.. |

Dude, you're photo is also too big. Please resize it according to the rules.

Could you define "inside" the car a little more?
Generally speaking, does "inside the car" refer to the cabin or, as Ashu asked, does "inside the engine bay" count as well? How about anything within the confines of the chassis (e.g. misc suspension bits, brakes, etc...)?

I am guessing "inside the car" meant from within the cabin going by the example photo he provided...as in photograph something while the camera is "inside" the cabin area...but its just a deductive guess at best...

That's my assumption, too, but just checking the bounds of the rules.
