US OPEN
So who's going in as the favorite to win?
I've been playing golf off and on for the last few years and have really taken interest in it the last year or so. I had the opportunity to play at Torrey Pines yesterday and was amazed by that course being that it's a municipal court. |

I live 10 minutes away from all the action and I don't appreciate all the traffic.

If Rory has a big lead again and can recognize that he can afford to make a bogey here and there he could be ok versus the implosion with big numbers he made at the Masters. For example, had Rory just punched out sideways from the Butler cabins he could have likely made 5 and saved 2 strokes AND kept his composure/momentum over the final holes.  |

^^i want him to win, he deserves it. I like seeing kuchar up there as well he is solid. Yang did work also. Now the course starts getting tough. Saturday's set up will be tough, def going to be interesting to watch can't wait!
Closing note, I hated to see Els struggle so bad today. Bummer he missed the cut.

Fully agree with all of your points.
 Btw Jimmy...like I mentioned in another thread...standing offer to play one of the best courses in the world that I got in at this year.  (See #52 in Golf Digest's "Best of the Rest" from throughout the world and #5 in Canada.  ) |
