Sony NEX-5N
Does anyone have this camera? I've read a lot of good reviews from professional, although this camera is not meant to shoot sports/birds but it has an amazing sensor (better than the one in Nikon D70 or D700). Please share your review with me if you have used this camera before, I really would like to know if the NEX-5N will shoot some good car rolling shot.

For a all around good camera the NEX-5n is a great choice.
You mentioned sports and well the 5n is actually a great camera for fast action it does 10fps (frames per second) in continuous burst mode. Also with a shutter speed all the way to 1/4000th of a second you'll have no problems freezing action! The 5n also has full manual control and shutter speed and aperture priority modes. Allowing you to do rolling shots with no problem. (i feel using a shutter speed of 1/250th of a second works best for rolling shots) Also Sony recently released the new 55-210mm good for sports (priced around $320) |

Also thinking about getting this. Want something that will take sharper pictures than my old 6 mp while still being fairly easy to use and not too cumbersome to take around.

+1, alot of smaller online retailers are marking up the price... I was able to get my 5N with 18-55 kit for $699 shipped no tax from uniquephoto.com. They are legit, and the camera that I got does not have the clicking problem while shooting a movie.
So far I am very happy with this camera, very small and very nice build quality, and you get very very nice shots that's close to a DSLR since the sensor is an upgraded one from Nikon D70 or D700, I cant remember. Cheers |

I have a friend who is a dedicated Nikon user/pro photographer, he also sells equipment.
He swears by this camera and now uses one as his daily walk around camera leaving his 7000$ Nikon D3 at home for his studio stuff. when customers come into the shop looking for a DSLR, he takes them straight to this camera. |
