Feet of Clay
So I dunno how many people on this forum have had this problem, but I would like to draw attention and get a rise out of anyone who has gone through a similar issue. I dunno who here subscribes to car and driver but march's 2012 issue goes over an article about their long term 5 series titled "Feet of Clay." I found this entire article interesting as my 7 is in the shop needing 1400 dollars in tires because of two bulges that formed, and the car has not seen a pot hole. In 40k miles, they racked up nearly 4500 in tire and wheel repair which to me is very abnormal. Tires should last 30-40k easily (if driven on normally) before needing to be replaced. I'm worried that even if I replace them now, I will go through what car and driver went through on their long term analysis and eat up tires. I am wondering who else has gone through a similar issue with ridiculous tire charges.

I blame RunCrap tires. I don't know why BMW continues to use these horrible tires. I changed them out after the first 1000 miles on my 335i.
