Anyone know a good car transporting company?
I'm trying to get a not-running car shipped from FL to Jersey. I put my info out there and within minutes they raped my inbox and phone without consent. Don't know which one to pick...
Any type of experiences or advises very much appreciated! |

Another option is uship.com. I've used them a few times (not for auto) but for moving shit across state/country. It's like eBay where people bid on the job and then you accept the one you like.

I've used them one time, and there were absolutely no problems! Good luck!

American Auto Transport dropped the ball on me. First guy signed a deal with me at $625, then the customer service called me afterwards saying he made an error, it's actually $850. I cancelled the transaction, but the hassle and giving away my personal info were just annoying...

there's only 1 transport company worth using
Hands down Intercity Lines is THE best auto transporter company in the country. I've used them twice without a single issue. The kicker about these guys is the driver picking up your car is the driver who drops it off. It never leaves their hauler. Other services are more wholesalers who broker a deal on a truck and can be dropped off and picked up by another driver and sit at transfer yards. I've dealt with this once before and it's not pretty if something happens (as it happened to me) because everyone says... I don't know what happened and when it could have happened. If it's something worth hauling cross the country, these guys are the guys.
Intercity lines. Let them know you're a BMW Club member (even if you're not and ask for the BMWCCA discount) http://www.intercitylines.com/ |
