So basically, it's impossible to repair a small scratch unless repainting the panel, and almost impossible to obtain the same finish if repainted, because any variance in temperature and hardener selection leads to a different finish.
I feel sorry for the people falling for this frozen paint thing. Wrapping the car in a matte finish foil is so much better, if the matte effect is really needed.

I have a frozen silver M3 and it's really not complicated to maintain. If you are used to cleaning or detailing your car properly, it doesn't make any difference
Totally worth it for me, I would do it again in a heart beat Oh and cool vid :-) |

The paintwork is actually very easy to maintain. It's easier to maintain than "normal" glass paintwork.
Swissvax (Opaque) makes all the products you need.. shampoo, pre-cleaner spray, wax, quick detail spray, etc. It's a lot less work than cleaning a gloss car. Hard to explain exactly why unless you own one. Frozen Grey never looks dirty.. it's a great color. One issue with the frozen paintwork though. If you need anything repainted, it is very difficult to get the new paint to match the factory paint.

Unless your car is a garage queen, I'd definately avoid matte finish at all cost. Personally, I don't think it even look all that good. Looks like paint from a car that has been sitting in the sun for 10 years.

So let me get this straight. Frozen paint costs more than regular paint, if you get a scratch you have to repaint the entire panel, if you repaint a panel it won't match the rest of the car, you can't touch up stone chips or imperfections, if you polish it too hard or use the wrong products you ruin the panel, and again forcing you to repaint the panel, which means you have to repaint the entire car for it to match.....
Where would I got to get my Z4M sprayed in frozen paint!!! |

Albeit the cool paint scheme to have now, just imagine what it will look like 5+ years from now after everyday wear and tear (by the average owner on a daily driver). Look to budget for a new paint job. This will also definitely hurt resale value down the road.

Even Jet Black paint repairs require painting the entire panel because it can't be faded. However, it is easier to get a match.

It's different and a lot of people will like it for that. I don't think it will ever be for me because I'd feel like I have to baby the car too much.

Not my cup of tea since the paint has that half-assed look.
A lot of people will think that the car is still in primer and needs a clear coat.
