Changing Rear reflectors
Anyone know if is legal to change the rear reflectors to the color of the car in Canada?
I am planning to change the front reflectors to match color of the car but may change the rear one as well. I am also changing the chrome whisker to black |

If your vehicle is parked at night on a street, those rear reflectors would be the only pieces that make the rear end of your car stand out to other drivers approaching your car. This would be especially important for a dark coloured car. Consider this possibility: if your car was rear ended @ night and your reflectors were painted out, your insurance company could deny you coverage because your car did not meet DOT lighting/reflector regulations. Is it worth it to you to take that risk ?
