So my wife has asked me to put down the $99 reservation fee for a Passion Cabrio. I did not object - once she gets a new car, the E90 becomes my daily driver.

They're already here. I saw a black one yesterday and my friend got a silver one 3 months ago...and it's on KW coilover.

They were selling these things at I5 motors in Tacoma Washington for about a year. They were way over priced, in the mid to high 20's. There was a law suite involved in regards to propriatory rights, and they actually stopped selling them a few months ago.

They're pretty interesting looking....whatever's.....but I'd hate to get hit while driving one.

These are the old ones (1st generation). They are pricey because the importer had to federalize them.

Penske will start selling 2nd generation Smarts in early 2008. The new one is bigger and better. I ordered a cabrio too back in 03/2007. Will use it as a tender for the Cayenne...
