Stock the gtr is awesome but its true colors and superiority show when you start modding it. That's when the real gap shows.

I would love to own a GT-R. I tried for a year to think of a way to realistically get my hands on one, but that didnt pan out. lol Also wtf was that focus in there for?

I would have liked it better if they had lined up the cars based on price and had an aerial shot so you could see the performance in real time.

GT cool but really, who wants to drive a nissan or infinity when you can drive a world class BMW?

I like the GTR but I think there were too many variables like the level of driver skills. I suspect the outcome would be different if drivers switched cars and ran again. I think this race was a drivers race. Needs a more controlled group of drivers or put each of the manufacturers drivers behind the wheel of eAch car.

Childish is thinking cars should only be designed for drag racing and the results of a drag race are determinative of a car's "capabilities". Probably the most capable car there was the MB station wagon.

You know the GTR has lapped the ring faster than any production car to date I believe the ZR1 and maybe a simular Porsche are right there as well.

Were all enthusiasts and I love my BMW but give credit where it is due.

Nissan just showed pretty much every manufacture on the planet how capable it is. Yes it doesn't have maybe the soft touch plastics / exotic materials, name your exotic fancy options etc etc but when it comes to sheer performance it wipes its butt with most others that cost way more both in handling and 1/4 mile..

Put it against any car that cost the same amount and its not comparable, Modify it and it only makes it that much further ahead.

What other car can pull off 1/4 mile times like this with a full interior and not just a gutted track only car?

The GTR is definitely badass and anyone who says otherwise is just fooling themselves, but I believe there are a few production cars that have faster verified times around the Nurburgring. ACR, ZR1, and the LFA (maybe more). I could be mistaken though if the GTR has set a new lap time recently.

Agree 100% Im pretty sure the ZR1 was either a tad faster as well as Porsche with one of their cars..
Cant put my finger on it, I know the 3 of it have gone back a fourth a few times.. ZR1/Z06's are to be respected as well.

Don't get me wrong. My buddy has a switzer 1200hp gtr so I know what it does but seriously, seems stacked
