I'm trying to find a complete write up about this test/theory, when you take two twins and raise them separately on two separate islands under different conditions, to see a final outcome as to how each child would turn out after an X amount of years, etc etc.

might want to differentiate between monozygotic and dizygotic in your research...

but what you're looking for is referred to as the minnesota study of twins reared apart//minnesota twin family study.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm looking for, i just didn't know the exact name of it. I've heard of it in the past, but people used "islands" in their study to make a stronger argument. In my research on Alcoholism, i'm using Monozygotic twins.
