Anyone Have Or Try Zero Water?
what is your take on this? i currently get bottled delivery service and it is costing my family a lot since i alone drink 3 liters of water a day. each bottle is i believe 5 gallons and it is $8 per.
we tried brita and other filters but the there is a aftertaste to it that we dont like. does filtering through zero water really make the water taste like nothing? im researching mixed reviews on it from filters going out fast to it simply doesn't work. personally i think its a marketing schyme. maybe they got a small additive in the filter so when you put the tds stick in zero water it just detects that additive and gives you a 0 reading? im questioning this because i LOVE fiji water. so im wondering if i put this tds stick in fiji it going to read 0 as well? thoughts? http://www.zerowater.com/

Buy yourself an RO filter and make the water yourself...
I have an RO/DI filter that I use for my fish tank and I can tap a line and purify water myself then put it in the fridge. |

Tried it once before- there is no indicator on when the filter goes bad.
the only indicator is when the water starts tasting funny. When it starts to taste funny, you'll know because it will make you sick. |

WTF is zero water? Low cal or something?
If you want a cheaper alternative to bottled water, get a 4-stage reverse osmosis filter from Costco and install it under your sink. Those things can make sea water drinkable. $200 and maybe $50-$75/year in maintenance, depending on how big your household is. I had one before when I lived somewhere where the water tasted like dirt. Worked great. I have good tap water where I live now so I just drink that. Edit: looks like Costco has one for $160 right now... http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...=1&topnav=&s=1 |

Here is my recommendation. The con of buying it at a costco or any other place is that the resin only has about a 6 month shelf life, and you have no idea how long its been sitting for. When you buy directly from spectrapure, they pack the resin right before it ships |

water is water, and if something is in it - your already drinking it.
Go out to eat and order water? that's tap water. Ice in your Taco bell drink? Yup - tap water. shower? now your rubbing that evil infected water all over yourself.. filters are a joke |

wtf is a schyme?
3 liters of water a day.. Sounds to me like if you're not drinking water you're pissing it out. Water is fuckin water. Drink whatever it is your family finds palatable. I have a filter on my fridge that I replace ever 3-6 months depending on use. Water tastes good to me...
