Pretty sure the bullshit "no one can drive here" argument doesn't apply to police and emergency vehicles. Oh, dipshit hippie is having a heart attack on the 3rd floor of some building halfway across campus. You'll have to wait an extra 3 minutes while the EMT's run to the building, they can't drive here! Bottom line, there's two sides to a story. They didn't do what they were told and they were purposefully protesting in a spot to impede movement and normal operations of students and their day to day activities. They could voiced their opinion in the exact same fashion on the grass, but they chose to try to get extra attention on purpose. They knew this was coming, and still did it to draw more attention. They got what they deserved. Also, "administrative leave" is given to the officers mainly so they can stay under the radar for a while, it's not really a punishment for something they did. It's mostly so they aren't bothered with retaliation from other hippies or the liberal media trying to catch them saying something wrong (or inadvertantly speaking for the whole department when they, as individuals, do not represent the entire dept).

These people protesting understood what was at risk by not complying with the requests of the PD. That's the POINT of protesting, especially in the fashion in which they were protesting. Does no one remember protesters in the 60's & 70's? Of course not because hardly anyone here was alive then. Do some research, these peaceful protesters got off light compared to many protesters of decades ago. But back on point, these protesters acted in a way that would force the PD to take physical action. They do this to garner this type of attention. The problem is that in this day and age no one has a fuck to give about why they are protesting. Everyone just gets pissed because they saw 8 minutes of video starting 30 seconds prior to the PD's forceable action taking place.
The horrors of some punk ass kids getting pepper sprayed. No one gives a shit when the Police Officers have to be sprayed in order be certified in the use of this non-lethal weapon. And certainly no one give a crap about why these kids were not complying with PD requests. These kids should thank their liberal leaders they didn't get their heads bashed in by batons like their mommies & daddies did in the not too distant past. This is what happens when people make laws that reduce the thinning of the heard.

This video made me LOL. Is it morally wrong ? Sure, yes maybe.
I laughed because of the irony. I could spot 5 people filming the protest on their new iPad and tweeting from their iPhones. I dont even want to know how many of them are on tax payers student loans and skipping classes, but have the latest $2000 macbook and spend $50 a month on coffee. Get a job hippies. Save money. Go a day without the internet and learn what the hell hard work is! Just because you get a college degree never meant someone was going to hand you a job on a silver plate. There is no crystal ball in life.
