Can't get the video to work but I'd assume this is at a fighter training school and the russian markins are from and OP4 (opposing forces) trainin squadron.

yeah, was just going to say it is a training mission that was being recorded, they are dog fighting if you notice, they were positioning themselves coming out of the sun many times during the video. The US maintains a group of pilots who use Russian fighter tactics to help train American pilots

does anyone know the area where they were flying, Obviously near one of the coasts, Could be San Diego (miramare) , but seems to green to be there.
