Garage floor treatment
Hello All,
I am planning a home garage re-organizing and painting (5S) event for this next spring and I am looking for the best alternative for a garage floor treatment. I have heard good and bad things about tiles, carpets, concrete sealants, paints, and epoxy. I am wondering if you could share some real life experiences on the long term benefits and annoyances of these treatments. For reference. I live in the Pacific Northwest. This means it rains from November to March. When it snow the roads are sanded, and we usually drive with chains one day a year in order to break a layer of ice. I want something that looks good, it is easy to maintain, easy to clean, and will not be slippery when wet. Thanks in advance JRRdz |

Epoxy.
Mine turned out great. Very easy to clean. I had the flakes laid out on top of the floor (not sealed) so that it provided traction when wet. The flakes are laid down on top of the clear coat and sink in far enough so that they are secure.
