Quick question, guys. Is there any objection to increasing the size limit from 800px to 1024px? This would allow those of us who use flickr and other hosting sites to post the standard large size images. Otherwise, we're limited to 640px, or cropping/resizing our images specifically for this contest. Thoughts?

I re-size all my pix to 800px max in any one orientation before uploading to Flickr. Can't give away too large of an image if I actually take a good one.

Also, it's so I don't hog someone's monitor if I post up a large pic. I'm indifferent, though.

this! 1024px would be perfect for that reason alone. most people can view their browser on a screen big enough for a 1024px image.

I don't maximize my screen because i'm usually running multiple programs, so 800 works for me

1024 would allow for more detail, but at that size, I'd recommend more people start doing water marking and such as that's a good size with lots of detail that's easy to rip off.

anyways, up to others, it really doesn't matter to me.

13" macbook pro - 1024 doesn't work on these forums because you have to account for the right side of the screen.
