Images used without permission.
Dell have used a photo I took and have used it on their marketing for a course advert.
I have all rights reserved. Anyone else had experience in similar? I'm after advice on how to follow this up really? Its definitely my photo. Paul

Is it a photo of a Dell product? Regardless, you own the copyright so they have no right to use it. Especially a big company like Dell. Find a lawyer.

find an attorney who deals with this type of stuff. you could be able to get damages in lost wages, based partly on the number of eyeballs that image has hit via Dell, among other things.

No - it's not of a Dell product - it is of a location that they held the training at. Don't want to get law involved just yet as a) its expensive and b) I probably won't get much cash anyway.

I would collect evidence, then send them a letter (this is where having a lawyer will help) asking them to either stop using it or pay you a certain amount for limited rights to use it.

The company that were using my image - a sub to Dell, have offered £300 for this which I'm happy about.
