Hmm weird...I think it is a timeless design. Clean, sleek, and sexy.

I would love to have an RS4 Avant... even moreso with a 6MT. I've got a '04 S4 with a stick now and enjoy driving it as much as my 135i (though for doing different things).

I was of the same thought for the first 2-3 years I saw them on the road, but lately I've been bored of them. You start picking out nuances, like how pudgy the proportions are from the rear 3/4, and small details—like the curling in of the faux diffusers ends and the relatively uninspired taillights—start to wear.

The facelift adds a lot of open pudge to the front bumper beneath the headlights. I'm sure the refined LEDs will get my attention nonetheless.

They still catch my eye on the road. In Socal, I just don't see then as often as a c-class or 3-series. Seems like 3-series are camrys out here. They still look really good to me.

I'm also tired of the E92, mainly because they are indeed a dime-a-dozen.

I saw the same one I think in London 2 weeks ago. It still stands out but is much less aggressive. Only reason why I noticed it so much was due to the led headlight redesign.
