Awesome deal: Gitzo Mountaineer 2531 LW Carbon Fiber Tripod w/ Leg Warmers
For those of you who are (or were, in my case) looking for a good deal on a Gitzo tripod, here's your opportunity.
I was looking for the Gitzo Mountaineer 2531 LW CF Tripod and the best price I've found was on B&H at 549 + shipping, taxes and duties for a total of close to 650. Then I saw one on ebay; which was 659, but with free shipping. I sent a best offer to the seller at 539 with the B&H link and he accepted my offer. On top of it, you make almost $11 in ebay bucks, which bring the price down to 528. Here's the link : http://www.ebay.com/itm/180648602229...#ht_3567wt_952 I just wanted to share the info; in case somebody would be looking for one as well.

$500 when you already have an ok tripod can seem like a lot of money, but when you dont, and you fear for your gear when its hooked on the one you already have, its not that bad.
