i don't get drunk.. when i know i have drunk a lot i usually find a good place to puke, sit in the car and wait till i'm ok.. i mostly do it for the car

but its been a long time since i drunk that much, couple of years ago.
but yeah the thing is to know your limits.

It does not matter how many you had. You can get charged with a DUI even if you are under .08 BAC.

In CA you get charged with both VC23152(a) AND VC23152(b), but even if you do not "qualify" to be charged with (b), they can charge you with (a).

Basically, if the cop is a dick, you get arrested and charged no matter how many drinks you had.

after going thru the dui process...i never drink and drive. Sucks i got caught, but i'm more thankful that i did. It was a good wake up call.

I'm not condoning drinking and driving but I used to be able to drink a few(4-5) shots before driving. i've even driven my motorcycle for an hour while tipsy. I was on my way to work overtime but couldn't make it because my wife was having contractions. Yeah I was really stupid a few years ago. I've even been through 2 roadside sobriety tests but never arrested. I'm either very lucky or could hold my liquor well or both..

I'm always designated driver (even when I'm not), so one-two drinks for the night if even...

worst experience ever was when I went to a friend's bday and the designated driver got so hammered that I had to drive him home because he was in that bad of shape.. I had drank since I wasn't the DD. Never again.
that's why even when I'm not DD, I still stay vigilant..

Have you folks ever driven home on a Friday or Saturday night sober??? It's fucking hilarious. People braking way too early/late, using all four lanes of the highway because they can't stay in one lane, sleeping while in the drive-through of Jack in the Box. Get to see all types of shit when sober; the highway's like a bumper car ring...
