Jake Humphrey Leaving BBC F1
![]() Just read that Jake Humphrey will leave the BBC F1 coverage at the end of this year to cover Premier League Football with BT Vision. Link has more info. http://pitpass.com/47321-Humphrey-quits-BBC-F1-role This saddens me as I was holding reserved hope that he would jump to Sky for full time F1 and to save their terrible broadcasts.

What a shame, I love watching Jake on a Sunday Morning. He's a great presenter and got on really well with all of the F1 stars. Obviously hes just after the money. What a shame, its just gonna be eddie and dc now. F1 is slowly going down the pan coverage wise.

A shame indeed but even without JH, the EJ and DC show is still better than Herbert & Co on Sky

In all fairness, Football is Humphrey's first love. So it isn't just about the money I don't think, though I'm sure it helps a lot. I'm sure Sky would have paid up for him if they could have, he is without a doubt the top man for the F1 anchor role right now.
