Im thinking of buying a E36 328i. any inputs?
found a great deal on a 1996 e36 328i sport, its a 2 owner car, it has m3 wheels m3 full body kit, and lowered on coilovers, aftermarket exhaust, and few other mods. the car has 124K Miles. its in AWESOME condition, seats are in mint condition. Owner says the waterpump and timing belt were replaced, has newer tires, the only thing wrong with it is the rear quarter panel above the wheel well has a little rust. i got him down to $4,000. what do you guys think? im going to test drive it tomorrow and possibly buy it.

Seems like a pretty good deal. Be sure to check the rtab pockets, radiator neck and hoses, expansion tank for cracks, rear strut mounts and suspension when you drive it. Most shocks are done by 75k. Wheel bearings may need replaced, control arms and control arm bushings and be sure to ask about service history. Id honestly ask the seller if you can get a 3rd party inspection.
Just my 2 cents. Built an e36 m3 track car from scratch the past year... |
