What do you do before you race....???

Before I start racing on the fwy or street against someone. Theres a couple things I do.

First- I turn off my music (So I cannot be distracted)

Second- I put up my windows
Third- Take "DTC" off and NOT "DSC" (I turn DTC off so my GEARS would work faster)

Fourth- I put car in "DS" Mode
Fifth- I put the car in "M1" Mode after "DS"

What do you guys do...???

FWIW DTC is normally off. So when you push the button once it turns off DSC and turns on DTC. If you hold it down for a few seconds it turns off both.

But yeah- I watch Fast & Furious before I race.

I put a frilly bow in my hair, crank the tunes (either "It's Raining Men" or "Dancing Queen" FTMFW!), and GET PSYCHED UP!

I usually drink at least a six pack of piss-warm generic beer followed up by a giant dip of Kodiak chew. Then I take out my lucky gold tooth and hang it on the rearview mirror next to my fuzzy dice.

please don't talk about DTC off and on it has been discussed millions of times and it always lead to and argument.

when I used to race the 1st weak that I got my car I used to press the DTC button once, put it in M1 and go.

now when I see kids in civics trying to race me I ignore them. I don't eat RICE.

if I red line my car is for my own enjoyment, I don't have to prove anything everyone knows: BMW > Honda
