Nice story and great kill, btw; how cool is that to do legally on the Autobahn!! It's also interesting to hear that stuff about the S5 from an actual S5 driver.

Man, we hit 150 a couple of times actually, and I can't tell you how many times we were going 130-135 mph on the 130 KM/H sections of the highway. I am doing this again with another car in July again, Hello M5 and eisenmann exhaust.. hoping. :]]

It has to be a bad driver its like impossible to beat S5 with the 335i..
its manual with more HP with more cylinders... if u have beated him than we have to admit that you are the better driver |

Maybe the S5 is just over rated? Either that or it's all BS but entertaining to say the least |

Sorry. I am a big 335 fan, but no way the 335 will keep up with the S5, especially over 100+ mph. Check the eng stats and read the articles out on the S5. The extra cylinders, hp and torque of the Audi too much for the 335 to handle.

But tuning ability goes to the 335i hands down. Even with coilovers, PROcede, and sway bars it is still cheaper than the S5.
Yes the interior is better in the S5, but the driving experience and oneness with the road would go to BMW. In addition to the steep entry price, you still would need sway bars and maybe some other suspension mods, to made the S5 feel rock solid. Having said that, stock for stock, yes the S5 is a better car, but I would expect it to be with a premium price over the 335i and being in M3 pricing territory.

btw -- in recent comparos, a stock 335i was faster than the S5 in both 0-60mph and the 1/4 mi. We'll not even discuss a PROcede 335i, since we all know it will walk away from a stock S5. :rocks:
