The only guy that will is me is the shop foreman who was so impressed with the shape my car is in at 225,000 miles showed it to two BMW reps during the week they had it. He even told them (joking of course...) that if BMW can't solve the software issue in my car, BMW should buy me a new car just because I've kept my E90 in such good shape. But I'm a superior windbag and just piss off everyone I meet... |

FWIW, my local bmw store doesn't typically stock any cars with a stick, and they are all xi as well because people are convinced they need awd for the 30 or 40 days it actually snows every year even though a set of snows will work great on a rear wheel drive car in our climate. So the car I would like to test would be either a 328i or 335i m sport if I was actually in the market...
The sales guy wasn't being rude, he was simply stating the facts. Most people don't buy a stick shift bmw, and even less will buy a caddy with one, despite how good the new car is, the company still has some stigma and the majority of their clients are oldsters.
