I can't remember the last time I even saw a Mistubishi dealership. Hell, aside from the evo, what else do they even sell?

Bizarre that there's a new Mitsu dealer - out of curiosity, where is it?

That's alotta dough for a "fun car". Heck you can get a GT 5.0 premium with brembo package for about 2k less.

A NEW mitsu dealership? That'll last about a month. They're few and far between. Used to take my old 3000GT to Dodge because they were easier to find than a Mitsu dealership. I think the Evo is the only thing keeping that company afloat in the US.

The Galant sure isn't going to help them stay afloat, that's for sure.

I would love nothing more than to have a Subaru WRX STi (sedan) or Evo X MR as a winter beater. The Evo is apparently a better performer though but is less comfortable as a DD. There's one Mitsubishi dealership about 15 minutes from my house, but they've really downsized over the past decade.

I had a mistubishi nativa (montero sport) when I worked overseas and it was a pretty sweet SUV. I liked it much better than the toyota hilux surfs (4runner). For some reason you would always see the hilux surfs on the side of the road with broken control arms.
But yes, EVOs are sick. Too bad it has a boy racer image but I'd rock one if I didn't fall in love with the M.

Evo is a great car. It would be a shame if Mitsu stops making newer iterations.

38k isn't much.
I would still go for a used Evo9 though, or STi hatch. Pure badass-ness, or just some practicality. I really don't like the EvoX, not enough difference from the normal Lancer. |

Picked one up a couple weeks ago. 2014 Evo Mr. Got a Cobb tune, MBC and ETS intake already doing 320 AWHP. The SST tranny in S-sport mode is awesome, but not as refined as PDK.
I personally love the MR over the GSR because that got damn wing is gone and it's a tad bit more refined and mature looking. I fucking love this car. |
