Does anyone else hate American License Plates?
edit: I hate how LAW here in Washington State requires the Front License plate -___- smh.
Simple Question.. But am I the only wonder who thinks they can be much smaller?
They need to change the design of them...soon lol.

I'd hate to live in a state that requires them. Other than that, PA's got some pretty cool plates out now-a-days.

Look at our European plates. Much larger. The Belgian plates along with the Monaca plates aren't too bad. But the Belgian plates now become longer too. UK plates are probably some of the largest.

At least in Texas you can choose from a big selection, although you have to pay a little extra every year. No complaints here.

I don't mind the size, just the design of most of them.

The I really like the size and simplicity of the old Delaware black plates

TX has some nice plates, you can get the white for a white car or the black for a black car.

I just hate the front plate.......My so smart state requires it, but the neighboring state does not require front plate.

FL has like 60 different styles to choose from.

CT requires it too but I haven't run one in more than a decade.

This works if you live in the big cities were cops are not enforcing the vehicle codes/titles. When they have time they'll write parking tickets.

Now, in the suburbs its a different story. Towns/Municipality's have waaaay too many cops and not a whole lot happens. Cops get bored and all take up traffic enforcement. They sit on empty lots and run radar/run tags/look for plate/look for inspection sticker/look for brake lights as you drive by.

Nothing worse than going out to dinner, having 3 beers in 2 hours, driving home and having a cop pull me over for not having a plate. I role down the window, he detects alcohol odor.......next thing i'm on the side of the road walking the white line and being treated like a criminal...........F that!!!!
No thanks. Have no patience for BS like that. I give Cops Zero reasons to pull me over. Last, i make a living with my Drivers License, can't afford to have it smudged up.
