Based on who's going I don't think it would be an all new product. If it were a product announcement (aka X7) I would think either Ian Robertson or Herbert Diess would be there. Furthermore, such a low volume car as an X7 couldn't really be described as having a significant economic impact.
Since Reithoffer and Kruger are the only two board member coming, my bet is this is either just another expansion for the existing models or possibly the addition of an already existing model. If its the latter, my bet would be on the 3-Series. But thats purely because MBUSI is now producing the C-Class. |

My guess is same as Bimmerjph, the 3 series. Volume went up 23% last year. US is now 2nd largest market.
